The company is based in Kawakawa, a short distance from Northland's Bay of Islands.

We have been specialising in the manufacture of reel mowers for the New Zealand, Australian and South Pacific Islands market since 1971.

The company changed hands in August 2004. Passing from founder Gavin Davidson to his son Kevin.

Kevin, an Engineer, has previously been responsible for product design and development and has managed the company during the 1990's.

Kevin's involvement with Kawakawa Engineering stretches back 25 years and he brings a wealth of experience to the company's management.
