Hydraulic drive
Each mowing reel has its own hydraulic motor which is coupled to the reel by a compact flexible coupling. The 4 h.p. motors cut the heaviest and coarsest grasses. Because each mowing reel has it’s own hydraulic motor ground speed, tractor revs, growth density and weather conditions are not critical. |

Designed to follow contours
The Hydra 5 follows all undulations closely. An axial pivot, two hinged joints on each of the mowing unit arms and our floating head mechanism ensure an even cut.
Tight turning circle
The Hydra5 has a tight turning circle and does not bunch or leave gaps.
Simple Tractor attachment and storage
Hydra5 mowers attach and detach from their tractor by fitting or removing three pins and a quick release drive shaft. When detached the mower stands independently on two retractable legs freeing the tractor for other uses.
Maintenance
Designed for easy maintenance - all mowing heads interchangeable, standard sized blading and readily available spare parts. In situ sharpening without dismantling is an option.
